What is Avroy Shlain?
History
Avroy Shlain Cosmetics has excelled in developing leading-edge beauty products since Avroy and Beryl Shlain founded the company in 1973, developing and marketing a small range of high quality skincare. More than thirty years later, Avroy Shlain Cosmetics is South Africa's leading direct selling cosmetic house as well as the largest seller of skincare products on the continent. It now offers a full spectrum of quality products including skincare, body care, sun care, colour, fragrances and inner care.
In 1993 the giant Multinational Sara Lee Corporation recognised this remarkable success and acquired the company.

Support and Sponsorship
Avroy Shlain Cosmetics is committed to the support and sponsorship of a number of charitable organisations, particularly those that deal with Women's and Children's issues. We are big sponsors of Bethany, a home for abused women and children, we support CANSA (Cancer Society of South Africa) in a big way, we support the Variety Club, an organisation that helps children who need medical intervention for life and death situations but are not able finance it themselves and we also support 'Acres of Love' an orphanage for children with Aids. We also sponsor many adhoc institutions that look after the plight of children and women in difficult circumstances.
